New Painting Vanishing landscape Oldwick Barn
DSCN7968 (2)
While looking for subject matter recently, I discovered an old red barn
with broken siding and fences. I saw a beauty in it and inspiration for
a painting. The leaves were just starting to appear and the dandelions
were scattered in the meadow. It seemed neglected, but offered a great
opportunity to capture history.
This painting was done with a limited palette of 3 primaries and white.
I am looking forward to doing some plein air painting starting next
week and will post more as I complete them.
