I have been enjoying spending time painting and preparing for the two
exhibits that are scheduled for this fall. I just love painting the
barns and farms that I find as we take our rides into the Warwick, NY
area. Often I just go off the main road, hoping the GPS will not stop
working and we find ourselves lost. On one of the rides in the Spring,
I discovered this farm with the colorful blue/grey barn and the round
building attached with the tin roof that was reflecting the sky and the
building, itself, weathered to a beautiful brown and grey. I will be
doing more paintings of different views of this farm. We went back a
few weeks later and I could not find where I had been and where I
discovered my "I just can't wait to paint this!" moment. This painting
is framed and available for purchase. I will be showing you more of my
farm scenes and some with cows and also chickens that are "in the
works"..
