Each year I wait for the time the lilies are in bloom at this pond which is called, The Lily Pond. At the water's edge, the lavender spikes of flowers bloom and the pond is filled with wild lilies. I am hoping to spend some time in a few weeks when the pond is covered with these lilies and do some plein air painting. This painting is fresh off the easel.
