I am always looking for farms and barns to paint. On one of our rides through the Warwick, N.J. area, we wandered off the usual roads and found a side road that had several barns. I loved this one with the unusual round building in front of the blue/grey barn and other building down the road. the boards on the building were weathered which I loved. Sometimes those "side trips" lead to new and exciting discoveries. Sometimes we find ourselves lost and are thankful for the GPS. We went looking for this "road" a week ago, and I could not find it again. Maybe on another afternoon drive I will find it or discover new sites that just stop me in my tracks and I know it will be material for a painting. Right now, I am focusing on painting some of these smaller paintings along with other medium sizes. My goal is to do some 6 x 6 and other small works unframed paintings including still life and my "barns and farm animals". ...Hoping to be able to upload at least one a week. I can't believe we are already almost half way through the year!
I hope you are enjoying each day.
